Eighteen Months!

We chose a cool, but sunny September day to celebrate our one and a half year old by taking family pictures at Ault Park.  It's hard to believe she is 18 months, but this year and a half has been filled with the best times in our lives!  She is always keeping us on our toes, constantly saying new words, mimicking everything we do, and filling our hearts with more love than we knew was possible!

Evelyn has always been super vocal; Chris "blames" me for talking too much, and Evelyn caught on :)  Maybe that is true, but it actually turned out to be a good thing because she talks sooo much!! 

The list seems endless, but here are a handful of the things that she has been saying:

Someone Loves Her Food!

We went to my parents' house today, and Evelyn tried corn on the cob for the first time.  Needless to say after looking at these pictures, she LOVED it! 

Evelyn had so much fun helping me in the garden this summer.  Our tomatoes finally starting ripening, and Evelyn had no problem picking them off of the plant and eating them.  When I took them in to wash them she would steal a few here and there for a snack.  It reminded me of Alex when he was younger.  My parents would find him in their garden with a salt shaker eating tomatoes :)

 So funny that this is the same child who would literally shiver when given a banana or anything banana flavored as a baby...

Now, "nanas" are her favorite!

It is simply amazing to watch her learn right before our eyes!

IHM Dinner and a Movie

As a new teacher at Immaculate Heart of Mary, my sister invited Chris, Evelyn, and I to join her family at IHM for church followed by a chicken dinner and a movie out on their football field.  We had so much fun and loved watching Evelyn play with all of the older kids.  I can't wait to be a part of this school!

Bon Fire with Daddy

It has been cooling off in the evening, so Chris and I decided it would be fun to have a little bon fire with Evelyn.  She listened well and stayed with us during the whole time.  She even had her first taste of a toasted marshmallow, and needless to say, she loved it!

Evelyn Takes on a Jumpy House!

The Boeh's had their annual Labor Day party, only this year they had fun set up specifically for the kids.  With over 10 little ones in the group our parties are a little different these days :)  Evelyn had so much fun playing in the jumpy house and didn't want to get out!
