Evelyn Takes on a Jumpy House!

The Boeh's had their annual Labor Day party, only this year they had fun set up specifically for the kids.  With over 10 little ones in the group our parties are a little different these days :)  Evelyn had so much fun playing in the jumpy house and didn't want to get out!

Happy Birthday, Ben!

Evelyn was invited to her friend, Ben's, 1st birthday!  Evelyn and Ben are only two days apart, so it has been so fun to watch the two of them reach milestones together throughout their first year!  We look forward to all of the fun memories in the years to come.  Happy Birthday, Ben, and thank you for inviting us to celebrate your 1st birthday!!

What a personality this little lady has!  I spent my entire trip at Target laughing at the silly things Evelyn was doing while riding in the cart....

 Despite bucking her in and repeating, "Evelyn, you need to sit on your bottom" she rode around the store like this.  What made it even better was when she starting dancing and moving her little bum up and down through the aisles.

Updates From Bathtime

Lately, Evelyn has been dropping big hints about how much she loves the bath tub by trying to climb in the tub even when it's not time for a bath!  I captured some cute moments of her waiting "patiently" as the water filled the tub and also of her playing.

Evelyn has been enjoying one of the gifts we received from my Aunt Diane and Aunt Elaine and their families.  At first, she wasn't too sure what she was supposed to do, but now she is a pro bouncing all over the place and playing with all of the fun toys attached!

 

Playdate with Grandma!

Today was a fun day with Grandma Field!  Evelyn and I planned a girls' day with Grandma at Parky's Wetland Adventure at Woodland Mound Park near our house.  We arrived at the park around lunchtime, and Evelyn showed Grandma just how much she loves the water.  After about an hour we headed to Subway to pick up some lunch.  Grandma and I took Evelyn home where Grandma enjoyed giving Evelyn a bath.  While Evelyn was sleeping, we were able to enjoy catching up over some lunch.  It was a really fun afternoon, and I'm sure there will be many more girls' days to come!

Tummy Time Play

Getting to be home with Evelyn during the week has been so much fun, especially now that she has been learning new milestones such as holding her head up, playing on her tummy, and grabbing at her toys.  We've captured some of these memories and shared them below!

 

Summertime!

It hasn't been extremely sunny lately, but Chris and I took advantage of a semi-sunny, non-rainy day to put Evelyn in my parents' pool.  She has been in her baby pool at home, but that water is always bath water warm, so we weren't too sure how she would handle being in colder water.  Our little fish did great, and really enjoyed it until the water started hitting her belly.  Here's to many more memories of swimming in the big girl pool!
