Myrtle Beach!

Chris's Parents invited us to spends a week in Myrtle Beach, SC over Mrs. Field's Spring Break from school.  After the winter that we have had, we jumped at the invitation!  We headed out on Saturday and drove about 6 hours to North Carolina, where we got a hotel room and let Evelyn get some energy out and have a good night's sleep.
She was such a good girl on the car ride!  We stopped at Chipotle on the way there; she loves her beans!!
On our first day Chris and I woke up for an early morning run on the cold, windy beach, but Cincinnati had snow flurries, so at least it was warmer than that!
We had so much fun flying Evelyn's kite from Easter last year!
Such a big girl eating her toast sitting in the bar stool.  She was quite proud of herself!

One evening we went to Boardwalk on the Beach and had dinner, but before dinner, Grandpa, Uncle Greg, and Chris got a little too adventurous while feeding the birds and fish!

Lunch at Drunken Jacks!

We visited the Atalaya Castle, which was so interesting and unique.  We followed our tour with a picnic lunch near the beach.
 The Field Family :)
Evelyn has learned to give kisses!

The good life!
Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Grandma and Grandpa taught Evelyn how to feed the ducks!
Evelyn got a little hungry feeding bread to the ducks....
The ducks and the swan waited by our balcony for Evelyn to come out to feed them!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday Party!

To celebrate Evelyn's 1st birthday we invited family and friends to the Anderson Senior Center for a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse birthday party!

My sister spent so much time helping me make the decorations for the party!  For those of you who have never been to a party that she is hosting, she is the BEST party planner there is!  Thank you for all of your help, Katie!  We will look back at this party and smile for many years :)

Evelyn loved seeing all of her family and friends!
Evelyn loved having everyone sing 'Happy Birthday' to her!  She was not a fan of the cake though!!
After getting her cleaned up, we opened presents together.  She is starting to get the idea of gifts, which makes it very fun!

We had so much fun celebrating her 1st birthday!  Thank you to all of our family and friends that made it such a special day for Evelyn!
