It's hard to believe that a year ago today, we welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our family! Our lives have been changed for the better in countless ways. She's constantly keeping us on our toes, making us laugh with her adorable, spunky personality, making strangers smile everywhere she goes, and melting our hearts with her hugs and kisses. We love her more than anything! Happy Birthday, Evelyn!
We started her birthday by having pancakes with sprinkles in the shape of a number 1. Then, after her morning nap we took her to the Newport Aquarium for the first time. She was in awe watching the fish and the lights reflecting on the water. I think her favorite thing was walking through the tunnels.

When Evelyn woke from her afternoon nap we let her open presents from the two of us. She loved her water table! I'm sure it will be perfect for the warm summer ahead!
At 5:00, both of our families came over for dinner, gifts, and cake. We had pasta, which Evelyn loves, and salad. My favorite moment was singing happy birthday to Evelyn. The smile on her face was priceless!
