My 31st Birthday

 My 31st birthday was definitely different this year!  I celebrated with 25 new kids in my class, and I celebrated being about 4 months pregnant :)  Chris and Evelyn decorated the house for me, and we spent the evening opening gifts together with the help of Evelyn.

 

That weekend, we met up with friends and their kids at Anderson Bar and Grille for dinner.  It was fun getting together with everyone to celebrate!  It's going to be an exciting year!

Happy 32 Birthday Chris!

Evelyn and I had a great time celebrating Chris's 32 birthday with him!  We had lots of surprises and a homemade pumpkin pie, his favorite!

Chris received several nice gifts like a movie, some running pants, and a Vitamix, but I think his favorite gifts was the last one... 

 Yep, that's right!  The more the merrier!  Baby Field is estimated to arrive around July 5, 2015!  We are extremely excited, and looking forward to meeting our newest little peanut.

Happy Birthday Great-Grandma!

Great-Grandma Wiegand had a candy and Sno Cone party for all of the great-grandchildren for her birthday!  Evenlyn was old enough to join so she sat with all of her cousins and helped Grandma celebrate her birthday!  We had a lot of fun; Happy Birthday Grandma!

Happy Birthday, Chris!

How birthdays have changed.....just last year we celebrated Chris's birthday by having a huge party, but this year he opted for something small with just the three of us.  Evelyn and I surprised him by coming up to Kroger to visit him and make an announcement over the PA system about his big day!  Evelyn then rode in the cart waving a balloon in the air for him!  

 Later that day we had dinner together, Chris opened his birthday presents.  It was a lot of fun to watch Evelyn play with the wrapping paper and tissue paper.  Happy Birthday Chris!  Your girls love you so very much!

Happy 6th Birthday Liliana!

It's hard to believe, but my niece and goddaughter, Liliana, turned 6 this year!  Not only is she 6, but she also started Kindergarten!  She has been the best cousin to Evelyn, always thinking of Evelyn, taking care of her, and playing with her when they are together.  We had a great time at Liliana's Pajama Birthday Party!  The following weekend we celebrated her birthday with my Dad's side of the family.  Evelyn was excited to give Liliana her gift, a gold locket with both of their pictures in it.  I love that Chris caught her face on camera when she opened the gift, so cute.  Happy Birthday, Liliana; we love you so much :)

 

 

Evelyn is 5 Months!

 I am a little late posting these pictures as it's almost September, but we have been quite busy this month!  Regardless of how busy we are, someone still had time to turn another month old!!  It's hard to believe, but our little girl is already 5 months!  Time is flying, but we are having SO much fun!

 A few highlights from this month: 
* She is about 16 lbs and 27 inches long
*She is still wearing 3-6 month clothing and size 3 diapers
* She can sit by herself for several minutes
* We thought a tooth was coming in at four months, but it was a false alarm
* She loves to hold onto our fingers and stand up
* She has become quite the little bouncer in her bouncy seat
 * She has a huge smile when we say "Mamamama" or "Dadadadada"
*She rolls onto her belly all the time and even sleeps on her belly sometimes

 

 

Happy Birthday Annabelle!

Evelyn was invited to her first friend's birthday party two weekends ago.  Jill and I were college roommates at Xavier.  It has been fun to stay friends and watch as we've both been married and started families.  Her little girl, Annabelle, turned 2, and to celebrate Jill and her husband, Troy, had a birthday party with friends and family at their new house!  It was fun to see all of our friends from Xavier and their new little families as well.  We tried to get some of the kids together for some pictures; I think this is the start of some fun pictures over the next several years!  Happy Birthday, Annabelle, and thank you for sharing your day with us!

 

Evelyn and her buddy, Quint :)  Quint is about 3 weeks older than Evelyn; it was fun to be pregnant at the same time as Erin so we could share the fun times and not so fun times of pregnancy!

Great-Grandma Wiegand's 91st Birthday!

 Not only was June 10th Evelyn's three-month birthday, but it was also her Great-Grandma Wiegand's 91st birthday as well!  Chris, Evelyn and I drove to Edgewood, KY after work to celebrate with Grandma.  When we arrived, Grandma had set up her whole kitchen with birthday treats for all of her great-grandchildren.  She had plates of cookies, candy, and even a Sno Cone machine!  Of course Evelyn couldn't enjoy all of the snacks, but she loved looking at the large bouquet of balloons that our cousins had bought for Grandma.  Happy Birthday Great-Grandma!  Thank you for sharing your special day with us!
