Happy Halloween, Love Evelyn!

Happy Halloween!  Despite a rainy, cold forecast, Cincinnati still celebrated Halloween by having Trick or Treat on Halloween day.  Evelyn had fun helping Chris decorate a pumpkin using a decorating kit from my parents.  She wasn't too sure what we were actually doing, but she had fun chewing on the parts and smiling for the camera.

 At 6:00pm Grandma and Grandpa Field and Uncle Greg came over to pass out candy at our house while Chris and I took our little lamb out for her first Trick or Treating!  Evelyn was the cutest little lamb all thanks to my mom for making the costume for Evelyn.  Not only was she super warm for the cold weather, but the cute details like the bell necklace, the ribbon, and the tail made her look absolutely adorable.

 

Evelyn was able to join our close neighborhood friends for a Trick or Treating picture!  Great kids!

 Evelyn ended the night by wearing her new pumpkin jammies from Mrs. McHugh!  They were perfect for Halloween night :) 

October Fun Around the House

As the temperature falls, Evelyn has been spending a lot of time indoors where it's warm.  We're currently remodeling our Family Room complete with all new carpet, and we are just in time!  Someone has been spending a lot of time on her hands and knees rocking back and forth.....crawling may be in our future!

 

 

Happy 6th Birthday Liliana!

It's hard to believe, but my niece and goddaughter, Liliana, turned 6 this year!  Not only is she 6, but she also started Kindergarten!  She has been the best cousin to Evelyn, always thinking of Evelyn, taking care of her, and playing with her when they are together.  We had a great time at Liliana's Pajama Birthday Party!  The following weekend we celebrated her birthday with my Dad's side of the family.  Evelyn was excited to give Liliana her gift, a gold locket with both of their pictures in it.  I love that Chris caught her face on camera when she opened the gift, so cute.  Happy Birthday, Liliana; we love you so much :)

Hike for Hospice!

This year marks the 5th year that I have participated in the Hike for Hospice with the Field family.  The Fields support Hospice as they have taken care of many family members and loved ones.  The hike has been a yearly tradition for their family for many years, and this year we were excited for Evelyn to join!  We are excited to make this a tradition for her as well.

Celebrating 7 Months!

What a wonderful week to celebrate Evelyn's 7 month birthday!  We scheduled a 7 month photo shoot with Sara Jasper Photography to be held at Shaw Pumpkin Farm.  We had such a wonderful time, and we are so extremely happy with the pictures from that evening.  It's hard to believe that Evelyn is 7 months, but we have enjoyed each and every moment with our darling little girl!

It was too hard to choose my favorite pictures, so I decided why not, and I uploaded many of them!

* I weigh 17 lbs, and I am 27 1/2 inches long!
* I wear 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
* I love to sit and play with my toys all day long
*I have tried cereal, green beans, and sweet potatoes, but cereal is my favorite so far!
* My favorite toys include: my monkey binkie, my giraffe, and my Sophie giraffe
* I sleep with a light blanket in my crib now
* My favorite song is the Itsy Bitsy Spider!

 We just love this little girl!!
