This year Carter had a new party guest at his birthday party! Evelyn
helped Chris and I celebrate Carter's 7th birthday with red cupcakes.
For those of you who have met our little Carter man, you can understand
how apprehensive Chris and I were in regards to how he would behave with
Evelyn in the family. He tends to be very protective of me, so we
weren't quite sure how he would react to someone else taking my time
from him. To our surprise, and probably most of yours, from the minute
he met her he has been nothing short of a wonderful "big brother" to
her. He constantly sleeps by her, smells her, and now that her hands
are in her mouth all the time, licks her hands (yes, we've been washing
her hands none stop!). Below are some precious moments that we have
