Welcome Home Evelyn

Chris, Evelyn, and I made the exciting trip home to Mt. Washington from Good Samaritan hospital on Tuesday, March 12.  Our day began with packing up our things at the hospital, a visit from my doctor, Evelyn's hearing exam, and a check-up from the pediatrician followed by a long wait for the nurse to bring a wheelchair for me to go to the car.  While waiting, Evelyn was getting hungry so we decided to have her try her first bottle!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once home, we took Evelyn on a tour of her new house.  She also met her big "brother", Carter.  He was immediately interested in this new family member, and has been by her side since she came home. After settling in at home, we unpacked from our hospital stay and gave Evelyn a quick sponge bath, which she did not care for!  The rest of the afternoon we enjoyed watching our little girl and relaxing with a movie.
